On the last "Sorcerer Says", we posed the question:
What is the best resort restaurant?
Be sure to tune into Character Breakfast #24 to hear what we have to say about it!

Well, I know Chef Mickey is good and all but I have to say the 'Food Court' in the Caribbean Beach Resort. Where else can a person throw their trash away into a 'Talking Trash Can'? You toss your trash in and these little Jamaican voices say, 'Hey watcha doin? Watch it; there's people down here!' and other funny things. The most fun is to sit next to it and watch the looks on people's faces when they throw something in and don't know that they 'talk'. (Especially when it's someone who has had a few too many Margaritas-that's the best!) Food and fun at the C. B. Resort! - Mickey's Pal:Mickeywalk: :Mickeyear:

california grill on top of the contemporary is my first choice, but this is very expensive so i try to go to that giant food court at port orleans riverside :mickey:
I'm going to have to say "Whispering Canyon Cafe" @ the Wilderness Lodge. My family and I have a blast at that place every time we go. The best is when you can bring somebody there for the first time and initiate them by getting them to ask the waiter or waitress for some ketchup. It cracks me up every time! And the all-you-can-eat barbecue is pretty darn good, particularly the pulled pork.
A close second place would be the Pepper Market food court @ the Coronado Springs. With so many choices and a fun atmosphere, it makes for some great counter service and a great lunch each time my wife and I go there.

I also go with Whispering Canyon. I always have breakfast there once a trip. Not so much for the food (which I think is ok, but not spectacular or anything--though I've only had breakfast there and never had the BBQ) but the fun value is second-to-none.

'Ohana at the Polynesian. I love the island 'feel', food, and the tropical island drinks. :rolleyes2:
Also, Cinderella's castle is just a glance a way. What could be better? :Mickeywalk:

I'm personally a fan of narcoosee's at the grand floridian for dinner. If you know what time the electric water pageant is you can make reservations so you can watch the water pageant and the fireworks at the magic kingdom. what a deal. also the wait staff is amazing and i always have very interesting conversations with them while waiting for meals and such. make sure you request a seat by the window.
