    Default Wishes Dessert Party

A new Firework Dessert Party will be starting a trial run on Tuesday.

You are invited to a new nightly celebration at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station that includes a dessert party and exclusive viewing of Wishes nighttime spectacular.

The Fireworks Dessert Party will open nightly to Guests one hour prior to the nighttime spectacular and includes a self-service buffet featuring a wide range of sweets and beverages. Offerings for Guests with special dietary needs will be available.

Guests are encouraged to call (407) WDW-DINE to make reservations. Reservations will be accepted beginning Monday, June 22. Reservations are not required but are highly recommended due to the anticipated popularity of this experience. Seating is limited. Space permitting, seating for walk-ups may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The price for this experience is $17.99 for Guests ages 10 and over and $9.99 for Guests ages 3 - 9.

Park admission to Magic Kingdom Park is required. The Disney Dining Plan is not currently being accepted. Prepayment will be required reserving seats for this event in advance.
The test will run from June 23 through Saturday, August 29, and (as with the Fantasmic dining package), there will be no refunds if the weather causes a cancellation of Wishes. The dessert reception will be held regardless of weather.

    Wow, that could be good.

Are you going to do it, Debi? I'd love to hear how it went -- the atmosphere, the view of Wishes, were there any chairs so you could sit down, that sort of thing.

    Personally I don't think I would bother.
I think $17.99 is a little steep for dessert (though I'm sure my kids would rise to the challenge to get their moneys worth ).
I don't even think that the area round the Noodle Station would give you the best view of Wishes anyway.

As part of our package we have a preferred firework seating option for both Wishes and ROE, and we were told that "the roped off area is on the terrace near to the ice-cream parlour and the Plaza Restaurant. There are several trees in the way and to be honest you can get a much better view anywhere on Main Street "

That seems like a lot of money for a lot of calories. Although I think it could be great fun for unpudgy people. - MP

I won't bother either... I could just run to Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Sqaure and get myself a funnel cake and run back to my spot to enjoy the fireworks.

    Default Count Me In!!!

Call me a sucker, but it sounds like something I would be interested in! Of course I would expect decent desserts for that kind of price.

I hope they do it for a longer amount of time because my family and I would love to try this new experience on our next vacation to Disney in November

Ya know what? I'd do it. I have seen pictures, and the desserts look killer. Plus, you get a table and chair to sit at, you have an excellent view of Spectromagic, and can walk to the rail for an excellent view of Wishes.

To me, the ability to sit and chill, without fighting the crowds, have a dessert beforehand, and a soft drink or coffee during, is very much worth $17.99!

If they do extend this into September, Jesse and I will for sure do it. Mainly because it's our Honeymoon and this sounds romantic and special. I can just see us with our Mickey Groom and Bride Ears on sharing a piece of cake and watching the shows. Fingers crossed they extend!
