I think that I'd like to do the hostess:children's activities job. That would be fun and would sorta run along my area of former work (well a little bit anyway). - MP

I would love to work in Disney's marketing dept. Hopefully when we move back next summer I can make it happen. I would love to put my degree to work.

    • Take over WDW Radio from that lucky bugger "what's-his-name" and broadcast from the heart of DHS...
    • Broadcast Sorcerer Radio for a living...
    • Three words -- JUNGLE CRUISE SKIPPER...
Haha all my brain registered was Jungle Cruise Skipper..now the Weird Al song is stuck in my head.

I have my non-Disney dream job. My husband and I own a table top game store. We sell Magic and Pokemon along with German style board games, role playing games, deck building games (that is a card deck not a backyard deck), miniatures games, dice games and random card games. We host large tournaments with over 150 players per event. The most people we've had in our store was over 475. We had three events going Legend of the Five Rings, Magic and Pokemon all at once. This weekend we should have around that for all of our Magic Dragon's Maze prerelease events. We sell cards to people all over the US and vend at tournaments all over. We're also developing our own board game.

But for a dream Disney job? I would have to say focus group evaluator. I want to really see what the public wants and help Disney make those dreams come alive. Also I like hearing weird answers. Or attraction story boarder during ride/attraction development.

Currently no trips booked but planning two. Food and Wine Festival this fall and the child's 8th grade party trip summer 2014.

There used to be a comic/game store next to campus when I was in college -- we'd watch new episodes of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" there on weekends. *sigh* Good times.

I still dabble in some of the old-school pen & paper RPGs (mainly Palladium products because I don't have time to learn new systems anymore). Also used to be big into WH40K, BFG, Blood Bowl & Gorkamorka (wish I hadn't sold off my mob). Yeah, you've got a great non-Disney dream job there.

    • Airfare to Los Angeles: A lot.
    • Hotel stay for a week: A lot more.
    • Visiting Disneyland for the first time after winning a few thousand dollars and making Alex Trebek talk like a pirate: PRICELESS!
