MP- it's a 7 hour drive from Crestview to Orlando. We used to live in Satellite Beach which was only an HOUR away from WDW so we went a lot. We had APs then, too. Sigh, the good old days.

Seven hours??? I'm better off flying.....that's only two and a half hours! But, let's face it, we would all go for seven hours by dog sled if we had to. LOL - MP

Disney Nirvana! Well I too would be very upset if we didnt get to do everything! That all changed on my first trip with our two kids. (well second for my daughter) We treated my parents for once with a 2 bedroom at BLT. It was my old mans, nephews, wifes, and uncles bdays! And a trip full of ADR's!! Well Disney is not easy with 2 babies under 2 and we realized half way through the trip. Making all the ADR's was unfiar to the offspring and us. So we kicked down a notch and went a little slower letting the kids set the tone. Granted not getting to do all the thrill rides is a bummer! But got to see a whole new perspective of Disney. Going back to the room for naps and enjoying the view of the Magic Kingdom and monorail going bye. That was priceless for my kids! visiting the play areas and meeting other parents and getting really familiar with Fantasyland! Just strolling the kids around with no particular place to go lets you really pick up on all the small details generally over looked. So to keep face my wife and I just went back in may and kinda took the same approach, slow and easy! very enjoyable stopping to see averycorner and knich we would normally walk by. I'm a new Disney goer now and thank my kids for it! (well that is until they get old enough to want to run all over and do everything)!! I will still always be sad to leave, but look foward to going back with the same enthousiasm as if it were my first trip!
